After working with students of all ages (babies to adult), I am confident in saying my methodology makes and impact on those I teach. Whether it is finding new approaches to teaching different people, new material or even just a new perspective, I am always searching for the best ways in helping my students confidence and skills grow.
Since tutoring music since the age of 16, I have learned and gained many things along the way including my Bachelors in Interdisciplinary Studies with a focus in Music and Voice. After attending FGCU’s Bower School of Music for 4 years, I can easily say music has taken up a huge part of my heart and mind. I love to share all of that passion and knowledge with students.
I have volunteered, student taught, led group lessons/classes, worked with special needs individuals, and have the most experience with 1 on 1 tutoring for we can really tailor those goals to the individual student. Now as a 7th Grade Social Studies Teacher, I can say I have gained immense knowledge on how to work with students with behavior issues or even neurodivergent thinking such as ADHD, Autism, ODD, OCD, and more.
I am confident in saying that an individual will see results after every tutoring session and I look forward to celebrating in that success with them!
