I’m a biologist and educator with a PhD in Molecular and Cellular Biology from Harvard University (4.0 GPA) and a bachelor’s degree in Cell and Molecular Biology from Northeastern University (4.0 GPA). Over the past several years, I’ve taught and mentored a wide range of students: high school students exploring biology for the first time, community college and adult learners, and Ivy League undergraduates and graduate students. My formal teaching experience includes serving as a Teaching Fellow in an advanced cell biology course at Harvard, tutoring chemistry, calculus, and statistics at a community college, and mentoring many research students one-on-one.
When we work together, my goal is not just to get you through your next quiz or exam, but to help you become a more confident, independent learner. I focus on clear explanations, step-by-step problem solving, and connecting details to the big picture so the material actually makes sense. Along the way, we’ll talk about how to study effectively for science courses, including taking useful notes, tackling practice problems, and managing your time so you’re not cramming at the last minute.
All of my sessions are online, and I work with high school, college, and graduate students, including adult learners. Whether you’re taking high school biology, introductory college biology, cell biology, molecular biology, genetics, or related courses, I’ll create a friendly, comfortable environment where you can ask questions freely and make steady progress.
