Formal courses don't generally teach you what you need to know, right when you need to know it! I worked with a technical tutor in college and learned firsthand the value of laser focused assistance. This focus is something I have carried into my website design and development business where I teach my clients how to maintain their own websites. They are not lost in the sea of too much information or the redirection of information that is not immediately useful.

My formal education includes an MBA, Marketing Certificate and Certification in Graphics and Website design. I have taught multiple 16-week website design courses, but my value to students is not in helping them complete an academic program, but to help them learn skills that are useful to them today and tomorrow.

I have been building client websites since 2003 and now specialize only in WordPress. I offer a range of strategy and hands-on training from WordPress installation, site moves, plugin-ins, themes, SEO, and blogging to website hosting and DNS.

I have taught Website design courses at a few local institutions, but prefer the one-on-one focus I am able to provide on my own. My ability to see the big picture along with a blend of marketing, technical, and creative skills allows me to teach not just the task at hand, but to help the student understand how that technique it fits into the big picture.

I am NOT tutoring in hard core programming services! My training is designed for the freelance website design student or business owner who wants to leverage the power of self-hosted websites for profit.
