Hello, I’m Silvana! I guide students through the college application process and provide assistance in writing compelling essays and creating a competitive college portfolio. Regardless of where you are in the process, I am here to help with crafting a college list, completing the Common app essay/ supplementals, and practicing for admissions interviews.

The college application process can be overwhelming at first, particularly because of how daunting it can be to try to fit your personality, achievements, and aspirations into a short personal statement. However, I will take the time to understand the narrative you want to shine through in your application and help break down the writing process in a way that is personalized, approachable, and efficient.

I served as a college advising mentor for Matriculate during my time as an undergraduate at Princeton University, and I have successfully guided dozens of students through college application process from beginning to end. I specialize in admissions to top colleges, and, over the past four years, my students have been accepted to schools that include: Harvard University, Yale University, Princeton University, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Stanford University, Columbia University, University of Pennsylvania, Cornell University, Brown University, Dartmouth College, Johns Hopkins University, University of Michigan, New York University, University of Southern California, and more.

Background

I received my B.A. in Neuroscience from Princeton University, and I have five years of college admissions mentoring experience. During my time as an undergraduate, I mentored peers in writing essays for classes, research projects, fellowship applications, law school applications, and medical school applications.
