I have been a Teacher for 12 years. I tutored at Huntington Learning Center in Nashua for one year. I enjoy Teaching and am passionate about it! I look forward to tutoring! I enjoy tutoring because we get to know one another and I learn quickly how they learn and we get right to work after we talk for a few minutes. I like to end with a game that reinforces what we are learning about. I am interested in tutoring students from Grades Pre-K - Grade 3. I was a Paraprofessional for nine years....

I enjoy tutoring because we get to know one another and I learn quickly how they learn and we get right to work after we talk for a few minutes. I like to end with a game that reinforces what we are learning about. I am interested in tutoring students from Grades Pre-K - Grade 3. I was a Paraprofessional for nine years. After that, I received my Masters Degree in Early Childhood Education from Rivier University. After I graduated, I accepted a job as a Title One Teacher at the Beech Street Elementary School in Manchester, NH, where I tutored individual students as well as small group instruction for Reading and Mathematics. I worked one year there and then received a classroom at St. Francis of Assisi School where I taught Fourth Grade for four years. I taught First Grade for 5 years. I am currently a Second Grade Teacher at Fairgrounds Elementary School in Nashua NH. I am looking forward to this opportunity in order to help individual students practice their skills in all areas of the curriculum.
I enjoy grammar and find funny ways to make it interesting. I have been a Second Grade Teacher in Nashua for the past year. I find ways to teach the Common Core by making connections throughout the curriculum. I am patient, compassionate and make learning fun according to my students. I have been teaching Phonics for 12 years now and my experience has made it easier to adapt to each student's individualized needs.
