I am an experienced Special Education Teacher/Learning Specialist with over 20 years of teaching and tutoring experience. I have taught K–9 students across all subjects and specialize in supporting learners with diverse and significant learning challenges. My tutoring plans are individualized, goal-oriented, and designed to build confidence, close skill gaps, and promote meaningful academic growth.

I am certified in both Massachusetts and New Hampshire in Elementary Education (K–6) and Special Education (PreK–9), and I am Wilson Reading Certified. I also have extensive training in executive functioning, including organization, planning, time management, task initiation, and study skills. I am skilled at adapting instruction to a wide range of learning styles and needs, ensuring that each student receives targeted and effective support.

I bring patience, flexibility, and a strengths-based mindset to every session. I break down challenging concepts into manageable steps, provide clear modeling and guided practice, and help students build the academic habits needed for success. Whether a student needs support in reading fluency, decoding, math foundations, written expression, or managing schoolwork more independently, I create a positive and encouraging learning environment.

I offer both remote and in-person tutoring, with flexible scheduling to meet the needs of students and families. My goal is to help every learner—especially those with significant learning needs—feel capable, supported, and confident while developing the long-term skills and strategies they need to thrive.
