Hello! I am an experienced educator with over 20 years of teaching and tutoring in science, math, research methods, and language. I hold a Ph.D. in Educational Leadership (Evaluation, Measurement, and Research), an M.Ed. in Adult and Higher Education, and an M.A. in Education (Teaching Methods), with a B.Sc. in Chemistry (minor in Biology) and eligibility to teach Chemistry (Grades 6–12) in the USA. I have received a Doctoral Associateship, a fellowship for Peace and Democracy, and several research travel grants recognizing my teaching and academic excellence.
I specialize in tutoring Chemistry, Biology, Math, Arabic, and SPSS at various levels. In Chemistry, I teach middle school students basic concepts, like matter, atoms, and the periodic table, and high school students topics such as chemical bonding, solutions, and reactions. In Biology, I cover middle school concepts like cells, ecosystems, genetics, and body systems, and high school topics including molecular genetics, biodiversity, human physiology, and evolution. I teach Math for Grades 6–10, including whole numbers, fractions, decimals, percentages, algebra, geometry, and data analysis. At the graduate level, I provide SPSS instruction covering data management, descriptive and inferential statistics, visualizations, and result interpretation.
As a native Arabic speaker, I have taught Arabic to K–12 beginners and college students, individually and in small groups. My learner-centered approach uses games, stories, and hands-on activities for younger students, and real-world applications, structured skill-building, and step-by-step guidance for older learners.
I offer a free consultation to discuss goals, learning style, and needs before lessons begin. I kindly ask for 24-hour notice for cancellations or rescheduling, and I look forward to helping you succeed. Please feel free to reach out to schedule your first session!
