I am a certified Reading Specialist and Literacy Coach with a Master’s degree in Education and over a decade of experience working with students in grades K–5 across New Hampshire and California. I recently completed a two-year graduate program that certified me as a Reading Specialist and Literacy Leader in the state of New Hampshire.
My instructional approach is rooted in Structured Literacy and grounded in the Orton-Gillingham approach. I completed intensive training through the Children’s Dyslexia Center and have extensive experience supporting students with dyslexia and other language-based learning differences. I continue to work in public schools, which keeps me closely connected to the evolving needs of today’s students and families.
Because I work directly with students and teachers, I understand how to bridge research-based strategies with real-world application. I tailor each tutoring plan based on an informal assessment, ensuring instruction is targeted, effective, and responsive to the individual child.
I am passionate about helping students who struggle with reading and writing find success—and even joy—in literacy. My goal is to empower learners with the tools, strategies, and confidence they need to thrive.
