Hi! My name is Lily, and I’m a tutor based in New Hampshire who genuinely loves helping students learn and grow. My favorite moment in tutoring is when something that once felt confusing suddenly “clicks” for a student—it’s incredibly rewarding to see confidence build in real time. I’ve been tutoring for four years, working with students in subjects ranging from Algebra 1 through AP Calculus BC. Alongside tutoring, I volunteer in a youth mentoring program where I work with at-risk youth, providing mentorship, encouragement, and support both academically and personally.

Academically, I’ve achieved strong results on standardized tests and AP exams, and I enjoy helping students reach their own goals in these areas. I scored a 1540 on the SAT (770 Reading & Writing, 770 Math) and a 35 on the ACT. I’ve also earned 5s on four AP exams: Calculus AB, Calculus BC (with a 5 subscore on the AB portion), Chemistry, and AP Literature and Composition. In addition, I’ve received multiple awards for my work in Latin and Ancient Greek. I believe that with the right preparation, strategies, and confidence, every student is capable of achieving excellent results on exams like the SAT and ACT.

My tutoring approach focuses on building both understanding and effective problem-solving strategies. I work to make sessions engaging, supportive, and tailored to each student’s learning style. Whether we’re reviewing challenging concepts, preparing for an exam, or strengthening foundational skills, my goal is always to help students feel more confident, capable, and motivated in their learning.
