Hello! My name is Majida, and I am passionate about helping students discover confidence and success in reading and writing. I graduated cum laude from Fairleigh Dickinson University with a Bachelor’s degree in Biology, and later earned my graduate degree in Education from Western Governors University. With over six years of teaching experience, I’ve worked with elementary and middle school students to strengthen their literacy skills, improve comprehension, and become more effective writers.
My specialties include reading fluency, comprehension strategies, and essay writing, which are areas I truly love to teach. I believe that reading and writing are not only essential academic skills but also gateways to lifelong learning and self-expression. In my sessions, I use engaging, student-centered approaches that encourage critical thinking, build confidence, and make learning meaningful. Whether it’s helping a student understand complex texts or guiding them through the essay writing process, I tailor each lesson to meet the learner’s individual needs.
