My name is Jasmine and I am a UCLA and University of San Francisco graduate from San Francisco, CA! I graduated from UCLA with B.A. in African American Literature and English. A majority of the courses and subject matter I've dealt with involved African American authors, however, my initial literature foundation is deeply rooted in English literature (Middle Ages, 16th and early 17th century, the restoration and romantic periods). I am obsessed with everything from Beowulf to Keats and W.E.B....
My name is Jasmine and I am a UCLA and University of San Francisco graduate from San Francisco, CA! I graduated from UCLA with B.A. in African American Literature and English. A majority of the courses and subject matter I've dealt with involved African American authors, however, my initial literature foundation is deeply rooted in English literature (Middle Ages, 16th and early 17th century, the restoration and romantic periods). I am obsessed with everything from Beowulf to Keats and W.E.B. Du Bois to Ta-Nehisi Coats. As well as a few LGBTQ authors and literature sprinkled in between.
After UCLA I began working in local politics in San Francisco and continued my political and public policy education at the University if San Francisco, where I received my masters in Public Affairs. When I am not reading and writing I am traveling! I love going on long runs in different cities and enjoy the local cuisine!
I love to collaborate with those I am tutoring. The best thing about literature is the opportunity to learn more from different perspectives.
