Right off the bat, it's important for me to address the fact that I'm still a high school student. I'm currently taking AP English Literature, my past classes being AP English Language & Composition, Honors English 10, and Honors English 9. I've taken Spanish all 4 years of high school, and am currently enrolled in AP Spanish (I suppose my love for language goes beyond just English). My ACT English subscore was a 35/36 and I got a perfect score on the AP English Language exam last spring. If it puts anything into perspective, I'm ranked 9th in a class of approximately 260 students. So, I'm more or less what one would deem an "intellectual".

Straying away from accolades, I simply have a natural aptitude for English - I always have, ever since I was a child. I work/worked as an assistant teacher at my school district's after-school child care program (I'm still employed but will likely leave, as the hours are subpar). I'm younger than most tutors, but this gives me an upper-hand with many age groups. I'd love to tutor any age group, Pre-K through 12th grade. Hope to work with you and/or your student soon!

I seriously just "get" English. It's by far the easiest subject in the world, in my opinion. I have such a passion for language. From spelling to vocab to writing to comprehension, I'm 100% ready to help any struggling student (and do so effectively).

I'm probably not much older than some of you, so there's no need to be intimidated! I'll be more or less a "friend" who simply finesses your English grade. How great does that sound? Pretty great.
