My name is Mrs. J. I am a certified teacher and I have worked with children of all ages for over 20 years. I love to see children want to learn as much as I enjoy teaching! Whether students are typical or special needs, they all have a genuine curiosity to explore and discover new things. It is my role as a teacher to create such an environment where I encourage their inquisitiveness with hands-on, interactive lessons. In the settings where I have worked I have learned practical strategies to create a respectful learning environment. I enjoy making an impact on a child’s educational growth and feel that giving much encouragement helps promote success and allow for independent thinking. Children who think for themselves and are open to new ideas become successful adults. I enjoy being a part of that process!
I enjoy teaching reading, writing, handwriting and phonics. Preferably K-3rd Grades.
