I have worked with a wide range of learners in both classroom and small group settings, including students with IEPs, 504 plans, English Language Learners, and students performing below grade level. I use student data to design targeted, differentiated instruction that focuses on specific skill gaps and accelerates growth.
In addition to classroom teaching, I have provided tutoring through after-school programs and summer school, supporting students who were at least one year behind. I also served as a summer school math lead, helping improve math instruction and student outcomes.
My tutoring approach is personalized and structured. I assess each student’s needs and create focused lessons in reading, writing, and math. I specialize in reading comprehension, fluency, writing organization, and math problem-solving. I use engaging, hands-on strategies to keep students motivated while building confidence and independence.
I primarily work with elementary students (grades 1–4) and can provide both in-person and online tutoring.
