I graduated from North Carolina State University with a bachelor of science in Human Biology with a microbiology minor and then moved on to a Doctorate of Pharmacy degree from Virginia Commonwealth University School of Pharmacy. Now, I am a second year pharmacy resident! I know what its like to be in education for the long haul and absolutely love to help other around me succeed just as much. During my first year of residency I obtained a Teaching Certificate from High Point University School of Pharmacy. I have experience teaching both in a class setting but also on the job.
My teaching philosophy is centered around meeting students where they're at and building their knowledge at the speed at which they retain information. I have gained valuable study habits throughout my years of training and I am happy to pass those on!
