I graduated magna cum laude from the Rockhurst University honors program in 2023 with a degree in Molecular Biology. During my undergraduate years, I had the privilege of tutoring Anatomy and Physiology for sophomores and juniors, working in both group settings and one-on-one lessons. This experience not only deepened my passion for teaching but also allowed me to make a meaningful impact on my peers’ academic success. I designed practice worksheets tailored to reinforce each class's material and encouraged students to create their own practice questions, helping them actively engage with the subject and solidify their understanding. Seeing my students grow more confident and improve their scores was one of the most rewarding aspects of this role.

After graduating, I dedicated myself to preparing for the MCAT and achieved a score in the 95th percentile, further reflecting my strong grasp of the sciences and critical thinking skills. My preparation process gave me insight into effective study strategies and test-taking techniques, which I am eager to share with others. This fall, I will begin attending the University of Nebraska Medical Center for medical school, where I plan to build on my academic and teaching experiences.

What sets me apart as a tutor is my ability to break down complex topics into clear, manageable concepts while fostering a collaborative learning environment. My approach combines structure with adaptability, ensuring that lessons are tailored to each student’s unique needs and learning style. I strive not only to help students achieve their immediate academic goals but also to empower them with the skills and confidence to tackle future challenges.
