I am an ASHA board certified Speech-Language Pathologist. I graduated from the University of Nebraska with my Master of Science degree in communication disorders, then I immediately started by clinical fellowship year that resulted in my Certificate of Clinical Competence in 1995.

Throughout my 28-year career as a speech therapist, I have enjoyed evaluating, treating, and connecting with patients of all ages across a wide variety of speech and language disorders. I proudly treat my patients by listening and using real-world personalized goals and motivators.

I am highly passionate about rehabilitation coaching in relation to neurodegenerative or neurological based disorders including aphasia, dysarthria, apraxia, voice, stuttering, and cognitive linguistics skills. I believe in functional therapy based around each patient that I serve.

Personally, I am married, have three wonderful children and two dogs. I love being with people, biking, boating, playing games, crafting, and laughing! I find joy by being authentic, present in each moment, and helping others.
I can’t wait to hear how I can help you or your loved one!

I am highly trained and experienced in the areas of language. This includes word-finding, semantics, syntax, reading and writing, as well as alternative methods of communication.

I have a wide variety of professional and personal experiences with persons who have special needs. This includes developmental needs, acute neurologically based needs, as well as neurodegenerative disorders.

I look forward to talking with you about ways I can help increase involvement and participation in school, work, or life! The personal connections in life are priceless and you or your love one deserve priceless!
