I am a stay at home mom with two little boys. I have my teaching degree from UNL with endorsements in Elementary Education and Special Education. I love working with kids of all levels and abilities. I have experience working with students in general and special education from kindergarten through 9th grade. My expertise is in reading and phonics with experience in all subject areas K-6.

I love seeing students succeed and will put creative and unique strategies to use in helping any student gain confidence and skills. I will create specific lesson plans for your student and provide different informal assessments to track achievement over our time together. I will work creatively and flexibly to help each student grow in their desired skill.

I have training in multiple formal and informal assessment and instructional techniques to get the best and fastest results in reading growth and achievement.

I am a certified teacher in Nebraska and have been a substitute teacher in LPS for 2 years.

I have much experience in the classroom with students with special needs. I also have tutored multiple students outside of the classroom to gain success.

I would love to work with anyone who wants to see their student soar in a new way. I love to find the techniques that work for each student, working with new strategies that they may not be getting in the classroom. I am a relaxed, fun teacher, but have high expectations of each child within their own ability. I would love to work with you!
