The lessons are organized and structured using direct instruction, engagement strategies, multi sensory approaches, and choices. I analyze, plan, teach, scaffold, and reteach so that scholars may accomplish their goals. By having high expectations of myself and scholars, success is achieved!

I have been a public school educator for more than 30 years! I have taught Head Start, Kindergarten, and First Grade. For several years, I also taught reading and math interventions for scholars who needed extra support meeting grade level expectations. I currently teach Fifth Grade. My Bachelor’s Degree is in Elementary Education/Early Childhood Education. My Master’s Degree is in Early Childhood Education. I have classroom experience, as well as, individual tutoring experience.
