Currently, I am an associate professor of sociology at the University of Nebraska at Kearney (UNK). I completed my Ph.D. in Sociology at Mississippi State University and my master's in Predictive Analytics from Northwestern University. I also have a graduate certificate in applied statistics from PennState. I have exceptional statistical analytic skills and a knack for making statistics easy to decipher for students.

My research involved using cutting-edge techniques in advanced statistics and data science (e.g. linear mixed effects modeling, cluster analysis, conjoint analysis, association rules mining, system dynamics modeling, spatial regression, etc.) to examine topics related to health, healthcare satisfaction, aging, dietary habits, substance abuse, different dimensions of sustainable development, and so forth. These studies were published in various peer reviewed journals: Longitudinal and Life Course Studies, Community Development, Journal of Public Health, Nutrition and Health, and Sociological Spectrum.

I have a solid background in applied statistics, data mining, analytics, and data management. I obtained my Ph.D. in sociology from Mississippi State University and master’s in applied statistics and predictive analytics from PennState and Northwestern respectively.
