I am nearing the end of my career and thought it might be fun to tutor students. As a teacher, the most rewarding part is seeing students learn and grow. I am currently an elementary administrator in a small school. I have been at this school since my teaching career began. I first graduated from Midland Lutheran College in Fremont, Nebraska in 1994. My father was diagnosed with ALS prior to that so I felt it was necessary to find a position near my hometown. I started out teaching fifth grade and coaching girls’ basketball in my hometown. Later, I also taught second grade. In 2007, I received my masters in reading K-12 from the University of Nebraska in Kearney. I was then given the opportunity to become the reading specialist for my school. Today, I am the reading specialist and the Director of the Elementary.
