Hello, I have been an active Paramedic provider for the past 15 years, with most of those years also focusing on EMS education at the BLS as well as the ALS level. I have held NREMT certification at the NREMT Basic, Intermediate/85, and Paramedic levels. In order to fulfill my continuing education requirements, every 2 years I retake my NREMT Paramedic examination to demonstrate continued competency. In addition to actively working as a Paramedic and EMS educator, I have pursued a career as an ICU nurse, and now as an ICU Acute Care Nurse Practitioner.
I have an undergraduate degree in Paramedic Technology, a Bachelors of Science in Nursing, and a graduate degree as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner.
I have worked with numerous students who have struggled passing their national EMS certification examination. I feel that I have a way of breaking down complex topics to help you better understand versus just memorize.
