Hi, my name is Otto, and I am a motivated student who enjoys helping others learn and build confidence in school. I recently completed advanced high school coursework, including AP Psychology and other college-preparatory classes, and I will be attending college to study electrical engineering with the goal of becoming an optical engineer. I have always enjoyed breaking down difficult concepts into simpler ideas so other students can understand them more easily. My academic experience has helped me develop strong study habits, problem-solving skills, and the ability to explain material in a clear and supportive way.

In addition to my academic background, I have over a year of experience working at a daycare where I regularly help children with homework, reading, and learning activities. This has given me experience working with younger students and adapting explanations to different learning styles and ages. I am CPR and First Aid certified and have spent many hours supporting kids in both educational and activity-based environments. These experiences helped me learn patience, communication, and how to encourage students when they feel stuck or frustrated.

My tutoring approach focuses on creating a comfortable environment where students feel confident asking questions. I believe the best way to learn is through step-by-step explanations, practice problems, and making connections between the material and real life. My goal is not only to help students improve their grades but also to help them understand the material and feel more confident in their abilities. I enjoy helping students discover that they are capable of learning difficult topics with the right support and strategies.
