I'm Dr. Douglas. I recently retired from my faculty Professorship position, so I have my full time and energy to focus on tutoring. I was a Magna Cum Laude student as an undergraduate, obtaining my BS in Biomedical Science. With my Ph.D in Biochemistry, I have a well rounded education in basic science and scientific research. I actually started a new graduate level course in Cytometric Technologies in my professorship position, and very much enjoyed teaching and the satisfaction of watching young minds learn. My desire is to make learning fun, and I will strive for excellent communication with each student in order to know what kind of help he/she needs from me to learn topic areas with which they are struggling. I will provide homework exercises for each student so that we both have a gauge on how you are progressing and getting the help you need from me. Look forward to tutoring you!
I excelled at Geometry in school. I was president of the Math club in my high school.
I have a strong educational background in Biochemistry, Biology and Genetics, having obtained a Ph.D in Biochemistry and completing extensive coursework in Biology and Genetics. Have taught graduate level students in these areas in the graduate school I recently retired from.
Please contact me by email if you have other questions about my qualifications for tutoring.
