I’m Simon! I am am a current Sophomore studying Costume Design and Technology and the University of North Carolina School of Arts. I specialize in sewing, garment construction, drawing, and watercolor. I have been actively sewing for about 6 years and have been taking visual arts classes since early Elementary school.
Prior to college, I studied theater at an arts high school in Texas, where I simultaneously maintained a 4.0 GPA while taking rigorous acting and academic classes. I am particularly well versed in math ranging from elementary math to algebra 1 and 2.
I have been tutoring for approximately 3 years. My experience mostly comes from teaching peers through my high school’s National Honor Society and just generally helping out friends where ever I can. I try to make all my information relatable and engaging to push for comprehension instead of memorization. My goal is help with an ultimate understanding of concepts so students feel confident to take on problems and topics on their own!
