Willy M. has been teaching for over 30 years. As a published author he has written several books on a variety of subjects. In 2019 he was invited to Harvard University to examine and study the materials of Francis Child the first English Professor at Harvard, for an upcoming book on Ballads. He is an accomplished musician and has worked with top performers including Blues Traveler, the Marshall Tucker Band and members of the Grateful Dead, as well as Actors like Keanu Reeves, Stanley Tucci and Kevin Bacon, from his time working at the Tarrytown Music Hall in Tarrytown NY. He recently traveled to Ireland, Scotland and Liverpool England to conduct research for his next book. He is a 1997 graduate from Earlham College and spent nearly 20 years working in various ministries helping churches develop music and after school programs for young people. In the past Mr. Willy has worked for several private schools teaching a wide range of subjects from elementary math and science, to English and foreign languages and history. He currently owns and operates a music school in Winston-Salem, NC, where he teaches students of all ages a wide variety of music instruments.
