My education background includes a bachelor's degree from NCSU in mechanical engineering with a gpa of 4.0, and a master's degree from NCSU in mechanical engineering with a gpa of 3.97. I am currently looking for alternative forms of income as I am pursuing an exciting full-time opportunity at the robotics company I co-founded, CN-Seamless, Inc. I've spent the last two years developing and testing a portable, modular CNC machine that is now ready to hit the market. It's necessary for me to have plenty of time during the day to schedule live demonstrations of our product and make sales calls, and thus I'm turning to my proficiency in education to cover me as I make this leap into entrepreneurship.
I've previously tutored multiple high school students in math while in college. I was recently selected at my full-time job to be a trainer after only working there for one year. They trained me how to train other full-time engineers because I'm an extremely quick learner, highly competent communicator, and have personal skills that have made my career and startup company successful thus far.
I've previously worked with elementary aged children as a camp counselor for the YMCA, and I've also taught my peers a ton of material through my years in college. I was often the go-to for technical questions and problem-solving, and my gpa reflects the capability to digest, understand, and teach complex learning concepts in mechanical engineering. I actually took Calculus 3 while a senior in high school (commuting to NCSU) and have always been a natural at learning math. Recently at my full-time job I was entrusted to train, mentor, and manage an intern for the full Summer of 2023, and I quickly got them up to speed and producing real work output in just a few weeks. I have a passion for learning and teaching which I am excited to put to good use as a tutor with Wyzant!
