I am looking to help kids who struggle in the areas of writing, reading and literature. I have a BFA in Creative Writing and am looking for part-time work. I have over 15 years experience working with children ages 5 and up. I have also worked as a family resource center coordinator in New York. There, I gained the experience of teaching after school programs and also tutored children while running a counseling and information hub for parents, students and teachers. I love helping children in areas they struggle with because when I needed help when I was younger, I benefited immensely from tutors that I came in contact with.
My passion as a writer is greatly influenced by my love for literature. I relish in poetry, novels. short stories and children's literature. I remember grasping the intricacies of literature at a young age and I want other children to feel what I feel and to succeed in what I believe to be one of the most important areas of school: Literature, reading and writing. I have an open schedule and would love to help in any way that I can.
