Hi, I'm Haley! I am a clinical social worker and graduate of the University of North Carolina Wilmington, where I earned both my Bachelor of Arts in Recreation Therapy and my Master of Social Work (MSW). During graduate school, I also completed a certificate in Substance Use Disorders and Addiction. After graduation, I obtained my LCSWA and LCASA licensure and expect to be fully licensed in both by the end of this year.
I'm offering learning support for social work students, particularly those who are neurodivergent or who struggle with traditional academic structures. As a neurodivergent person myself, I understand firsthand how rigid class formats, heavy reading loads, and unstructured expectations can create barriers to learning. My approach is informed by both my professional training and lived experience.
I will work with social work students on topics such as application support, generalist practice, clinical social work concepts, and social work values and ethics. Sessions are intended to be student-led and focused on the material each student brings to our meetings. My goal is to support neurodivergent social work students build confidence, motivation, and independence in how they learn - skills that will support them throughout their careers as lifelong learners and advocates.
I offer a free consultation meeting and flexible scheduling. My cancellation policy requires at least one hour’s notice prior to scheduled sessions. If you are a neurodivergent social work student looking for structure, accountability, or study strategies that actually work for you, I encourage you to reach out. I look forward to connecting and supporting your academic journey.
