My name is Jordan. I am a certified K-12 Exceptional Student Educator in the state of Florida and hold reading and autism endorsements. I have ten years of teaching experience. I graduated from Catawba College in 2013 with dual degrees in Special Education and Middle Grades Language Arts and a minor in Spanish language. My teaching experience includes teaching special education at the elementary, middle, and high school levels with a focus on serving autistic students. However, I also spent time as a paraeducator in an 8th grade classroom and completed my student teaching in a middle grades language arts class as well. In addition to my classroom experience, I have also tutored several students in beginner and intermediate Spanish. I have also enjoyed helping college students with study skills and coursework related to the field of teacher education.

My goal is to help every student by providing them with quality instruction and tailoring each lesson to the student's individual needs. I welcome a team-approach and value parent feedback to ensure that your child is reaching their full potential. Whether you need remediation or homework support, I'm here to help!

Knowledgable and patient tutor

I really enjoyed working with Mrs. Jordan. She took the time to explain my assignment clearly and worked through each question with me step by step. Mrs. Jordan was very patient and understanding throughout the session, and she made sure I understood what I was working on. I appreciated her support and guidance, and I look forward to having my next session with Mrs. Jordan.

Great tutor!

Jordan is great! Only regret not having rated her sooner. She works with my son on a wide variety of things from school work to social skills. I would very highly recommend her
