I graduated from a California State University, with a BA in Liberal Studies, a concentration in Child Development, a Multiple Subject Teaching Credential, and introductory authorizations in English and Social Science. I later graduated with my MS in Psychology, with a specialization in Child and Adolescent Development, and achieved the highest honors of Summa Cum Laude.
Throughout the years, I have had many experiences, both personally and professionally, within a school environment. I had the pleasure of teaching 4th graders for seven years in California. While teaching, I also became certified as a registered yoga teacher (RYT 200).
I am currently in my second year of teaching Pre-K in North Carolina. I am eager to be an active participant in the life of your child or you. A strength that I bring to this community is my successful experiences in the field of education and my lifelong commitment to learning, as well as inspiring learning in others. I am confident in my communication, organization, and classroom management skills. My strong knowledge of and background in education and psychology/child development has strengthened my abilities in many ways .
