Hi, I am Anjaney. I am currently in my second year of attending NC State University as an undergrad student, with a double major of Biology and Psychology. I have been a tutor since high school and would love to continue tutoring while I am in college. My teaching method is more of a hands on approach, finding that many students can come to the conclusions required with the right push in a direction. For SAT and ACT tutoring, I like that students come prepared with at least one practice exam, to see where they are at, or at least what sections they would like the most help with.
I can help especially with SAT and ACT tutoring, scoring a 1550 on the SAT and a 34 on the ACT. Along with this, I have taken and scored a 4 or 5 on many AP exams, and can help with concepts or coursework in classes such as AP Biology, Chemistry, Earth Science, Lit, Lang, AB and BC Calculus, and many more.
I have 2 and a half years of experience tutoring high school students, many of those hours consisting of SAT and ACT tutoring. I worked directly with many students at my high school who were looking to improve their score. My main goal is to assist my students in whatever endeavor they need assistance in, so I am very open to suggestions from the students or parents as far as resources and teaching methods go. I am easy to reach and can respond within 2 hours to most messages.
