I love my nursing career and I want to share that enthusiasm with you. As a registered nurse for more than 40 years, I truly enjoy my career. All too often, I meet with nursing students who are overwhelmed by PowerPoints and book lists. Some have difficulty taking tests and others have difficulty with course content. Most need real world examples of patients and their care to be able to facilitate a full understanding of the "book work". That's where I come in.

She helped me to think through the questions with critical thinking and approach some of the alternate format questions differently -- which made a world of difference. I needed test taking strategy help, but she was also very helpful in a few categories where I needed assistance with. She sent me documents to review in addition to our review sessions. ***After just one hour session my practice test score improved 5 percent, from approaching the questions differently! I would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a boost of confidence, or improve your way of test taking thinking!!

Great at explaining difficult concepts
Janet is an extremely knowledgeable nurse who tutors when she isn’t working as a nurse. She is fantastic at explaining difficult concepts and tells great stories to help me learn and remember. I’ve used her all semester for med surge and I’ve received great grades. She has been very accommodating, adding tutoring sessions on weekends to help me prepare for exams. I strongly recommend her!
