Bio

My name is Miss Sara, and I have more than 10 years' experience teaching children in grades K-12. My degree is in elementary education. I also have an expired ACSI certification. Since Dec. of 2011 I have held various roles in education, from 1-1 tutoring to 2nd grade classroom teacher, to substitute teacher for grades K-12. I have taught in public, private, and 1-1 formats, both in person and online. My teaching style is to teach material according to the learner's individual learning styles...

I grew up in church and have attended several Bible studies. I have also attended Christian schools and participate in the children's ministry in my church.I am well equipped to teach others about the Bible.

My degree is in Elementary Education, and I have a lot of experience working with elementary school aged children. In high school, I was a Prime Time counselor, where I not only helped the kids with their homework, but also planned games and crafts. While in college, I took three separate classes in which I was required to spend at least 40 hours in an elementary school classroom over the period of the semester. During Student Teaching, I was in the classroom all day, and prepared all of the lessons. I really enjoy finding fun and unique ways of presenting subject material, such as making a game out of it or using memory tricks like making up a song.

Very Pleasant and Insightful

Sara was very eager to help my daughter in American history. She took the time to see exactly what my daughter had as far as her notes and the textbook she was using. After looking over her homework assignment, she helped learn how to look for information in her textbook, how to use it to her advantage. Sara also gave other study pointers. My daughter said she was helpful and wants to continue.
