Hi, I’m Meghan! Sixteen years ago I graduated with my Master’s in Education and have been working in private Christian education with children since. I have taught all subjects (Language Arts, Grammar, Spelling, Arithmetic, History, Science, Bible, Reading, Health and Creative Writing) in fifth grade for 8 years and sixth grade for 3 years. Over the past 16 years I have tutored elementary and middle school subjects one on one, in group help classes, and at child centers. In school help classes I’ve tutored students after school in arithmetic, grammar, creative writing, spelling, reading, and language arts. As I’ve tutored various ages one on one outside of school, I’ve tutored those subjects along with reading and phonics.

I have a passion to make learning fun and children want to learn. As I create my lesson plans I incorporate interesting and fun ways to teach and review the material. Playing fun review games are one of my favorite ways to help students retain information. I also specialize in helping students learn study skills to prepare them for middle school. Many previous students and parents reach out to me to let me know how much fun they had in my class and that I influenced them to love learning and made it easy for them to understand the information. I have seen my students’ quiz and test grades go up because they had fun learning, learned new study skills, and being positive and passionate about their success, resulting in students learning to believe in themselves.
