My qualifications include licensure in NC, MN, WI, CA, and OH. I have taught elementary grades 2 - 5, and middle school grades 6 - 8. My teaching strengths are in Math, Science, and Reading/Writing. I have also spent a great deal of time as both a gifted/talented teacher/coordinator and a resource teacher for students with special learning needs. I have an abundance of patience and many ways to help make the material more understandable.

My undergraduate degree is in social sciences with a strong emphasis in psychology and social welfare.
As a resource teacher for grades K through 4, I have strong ability with reading assessments, and assisting students with different methodology and approaches to reading to help develop skills and abilities, as well as strengthen reading ability.
I have taught science from grades 2 to 8 for over 10 years; including Life, Physical, and Earth Science.
