My name is Kiara. I recently graduated from CU Boulder with a Bachelors degree in Journalism and Evolutionary Biology and Ecology with a minor in Spanish. I tutor college, high school and middle school students in a variety of subject matters. For collegiate tutoring, I specialize in biology, ecology, video production and editing, and Spanish. For high school and middle school students, I am experienced in biology, chemistry, physics, algebra, geometry, spanish, english and test preparation. I have tutored on Wyzant and GoPeer for a combined total of more than 150 hours and have been tutoring for 6 years.

A little about me outside of tutoring; I am an avid snowboarder and scuba diver. In my free time I like to do wildlife and sport videography and photography. I also am a fitness instructor and love teaching students a variety of fitness modalities in group exercise and one-on-one settings.

My rates are $45 an hour for middle and high school students and $65 an hour for college students.

My bachelors degree in Journalism gives me vast knowledge on video production and editing. Adobe Premiere Pro is my primary video production tool that I use. I am familiar editing short cuts and tools to expedite the production process.
