In undergrad, I was a supplemental Instructor for Anatomy and Physiology II. I Assisted Human and Anatomy physiology II students with course work material, covering the cardiovascular system, endocrine system, urinary system, digestive system, and the respiratory system. I conducted supplemental instructions sessions to prepare students for upcoming exams and worked alongside the professor to help the students succeed in the class. I also helped other students in general biology, reading and comprehension, cell biology, and environmental science classes while in undergrad.
I understand biology and I am able to explain tough concepts in the most basic way. I have a passion for biology and knowing the ins and outs of the human body.
I struggled with reading, but as I took reading tips from my high school teachers, I have excelled in reading. I would love to share tips and experience with other students that is struggling just as I once did.
I am free Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays to tutor. Please contact me if you have any questions or concerns on any material. My teachers, and parents helped pave the way for me. I am planning on pursuing my doctorate degree soon after the Airforce. I want to help pave the way for students to succeed no matter what disadvantages students are faced with. In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
