Hello! My name is Samantha, and I am very excited to begin my professional tutoring journey. While I’m new to tutoring in a formal setting, I have nearly two decades of experience helping my peers one-on-one and in group settings throughout my academic career. I have always enjoyed explaining complex ideas in simple, easy to understand ways, and I’m confident in my ability to work with you (or your child) using your classroom materials, homework, or study guides to strengthen understanding of core concepts.

I recently graduated summa cum laude from North Carolina State University with a B.S. in Fisheries, Wildlife, & Conservation Biology. Before that, I earned an Associate of Science and a diploma in massage therapy at Wake Technical Community College. My academic background is generally in the sciences, with a focus on biology and ecology, but I also have experience in general chemistry, anatomy & physiology, math up to calculus, psychology, sociology, and reading/academic writing.

I feel the most confident tutoring elementary through high school- level science, math, and reading/writing, but I am open to working with anyone who would like my help.
