I am available and look forward to the opportunity to tutor elementary, high-school or college-level students. I'm flexible with both my time and the location. Having been "all-over-the-board" in my liberal arts college experience with an emphasis on writing, literature, comparative religions, philosophy, I believe my real life experiences have provided more relative skills in tutoring.
As a business-owner, successful in a very competitive business, my strengths are in business, marketing, sales, spread-sheets, enormous amounts of people skills with all levels. I have chaired many committees, lead fund-raising, served as President and board members for organizations for Children with Disabilities, Opera, professional organizations.

I write, having published in several monthly publications, newsletters for Mercy Hospital Group.

I have mentored students at all levels, taught reading and assisted in classrooms.

I officially retired early from business, and began my Yoga and meditation career. I am certified in yoga therapy and teach on a regular basis.

I have an adult son with Downs Syndrome who has always lived at home. My other son is a physician and my daughter a tax accountant, and I lost my husband in 2013 to leukemia. Tutoring is something I look forward to as I continue to recreate my life.

M tutoring style is to be very positive, working with each student with their specific needs, either in direct learning of skill and prescribed subject matte, helping to understand or to see a larger vision of the subject or the process, and building confidence in their own ability. In the learning process, I find value in breaking down the steps, measuring and acknowledging success along the way, establishing, with the student, a goal with each session and/or each assignment.
