Highly Effective and Affable Teacher in Fundamental Subjects, K-10

Teaching is my eternal passion; a bad day teaching is better than a good day doing anything else! I've been teaching mostly elementary school aged students for around 7 years, as of September 2021, and I've been tutoring 1 on 1 for even longer. I'm in high demand as an ESL teacher (lived in Asia for years doing this and becoming one of the best), but would much rather teach Math fundamentals and essay writing, as these subjects actually make my students become better as human beings! I find most joy in teaching my students to think critically, expand their minds, and most of all, attain genuine WISDOM.

I taught as a substitute teacher for half a year, and during that time I taught every subject that is taught in American public schools. Math is my favorite, but to be honest I wasn't challenged by any subject or classroom; the public school system is horrendous, and at this point in 2021, downright demonic. When students see I'm a real person who is honest and funny they instantly respect me and get serious about the ongoing process of learning; that's what being human means! It's very important to have fun during class, especially with young children, so I'm always friendly and casual, but never lacking effectiveness. Having fun is forbidden in most American public schools, so I see it as my job to pick up the slack, while also doing a great job actually teaching the kids what they need to know, which is also lacking in our public school system.
