I find tutoring on a one-on-one basis gives the student a chance to increase their learning according to their interest and level. Making and practicing corrections is more useful when the student does not feel embarrassed and he or she gains substantially from the tutored experience when their sentences are corrected or reformatted as close to the meaning they originally had intended.
What I love most about tutoring is that it is a great way to meet people and to serve in helping them express their thoughts. The exploration of language is limitless and creativity plays a big part in self-expression. I like to help bring out this creativity.
I've had English classes in the areas of British and American Literature. I have proofread many university papers for English and Science classes. In my current work, we focus greatly on vocabulary and grammar usage.
