I have saved dozens of jobs for students at top investment banks, RIAs, and BDs by having them pass the FINRA and NASAA exams. My strategy is for the student to understand the material, not memorize. I have been in the financial industry for more than a decade ranging from prop trading millions of dollars setting company records and asset management at a top investment bank and external wholesaling at a Fortune 500 company raising hundreds of millions.

I graduated Macaulay Honors College at Baruch College with a major in Economics (3.5 GPA) on a full-merit based scholarship in 2014. Since then, I have worked in the financial industry in various capacities including proprietary trading, asset management at Cantor Fitzgerald, and external wholesaling in tax-exempt retirement, mutual funds, SMAs, and alternatives. I am currently the Director of Investor Relations at a rapidly growing firm focusing on Healthcare Real Estate Alternative Investing.

I have multiple FINRA and NASAA licenses-SIE, 7, 55, 63, and 65 that I aced on my first try within a week of studying. My competitive advantage is breaking down complex subjects into simple building blocks and providing real-life examples that make the material real, exciting, and memorable. I look forward to working with you to achieve your goals!

Interview Prep

Interview Prep

Being a great interviewer is about selling yourself. I have a decade plus of experience myself interviewing and others for top Fortune 500 companies, selling complex investments to institutional and retail clients, and having the ability to pivot to different areas of finance successfully. I help professionals prepare for interviews with a clear, structured approach that builds confidence and delivers results. My background includes experience as a proprietary trader and leadership roles across capital markets and asset management, including serving as a Vice President at Cantor Fitzgerald raising hundreds of millions with mutual funds, SMAs, and alts and I was a Director of Capital Markets and currently Director of Investor Relations working with alternative investments and sophisticated investor audiences. This real-world experience allows me to teach not just what to say, but how hiring managers actually evaluate candidates. My focus goes beyond answering questions. I help you communicate your value, think on your feet, and position yourself effectively in high-stakes conversations. We’ll work through real interview scenarios, refine your responses, and sharpen your delivery so you come across as confident, polished, and prepared. Whether you’re preparing for finance roles, client-facing positions, or competitive programs, I’ll help you walk into your interview knowing exactly how to stand out and how to win.
Real Estate

Real Estate

I began my real estate career as a licensed agent in the competitive New York City market, gaining firsthand experience in transactions and client negotiations. I later worked in alternative investments at Cantor Fitzgerald, where I helped raise capital for CF Income Trust, a large private REIT, multiple DSTs, and our Opportunity Zone Fund II. From there, I moved into capital markets roles focused on real estate-backed investments and currently lead investor relations for healthcare and active adult real estate funds. In addition to my institutional experience, I am an active real estate investor and have helped multiple students successfully pass their real estate licensing exams. My approach combines real-world insight with clear, practical instruction so students not only pass, but truly understand the material.

SIE Exam (Securities)

I’ve helped save dozens of careers for students who needed to pass the SIE on their final attempt including students with disabilities who never believed they could pass the exam. I passed the Series 7, 63, 65, and 55 on my first try and have more than a decade of experience in the financial industry. My background as a proprietary trader makes me uniquely qualified to teach options, order types, trading strategies, and many of the math-heavy concepts that students often struggle with. I also previously wholesaled annuities, which allows me to provide substantial value on the insurance and retirement planning side of the industry. Most importantly, I focus on teaching concepts and building true understanding, not having students memorize random facts. My goal is to help you think like a professional so you can confidently pass your exams and succeed in the industry afterward.

Volleyball

I grew up playing volleyball and played for a competitive club team called Six Pak in NJ. We completed at the East Coast Championships at the Richmond Convention Center against teams from all over including Puerto Rico. I was recruited to play college volleyball at Emerson College, but decided not to pursue it as I had an academic scholarship at Macaulay Honors College at Baruch. There, I practiced with the volleyball team occasionally. I've also competed and won various beach tournaments locally in NJ and quads and sixes as well.

The Absolute Best!

Arseny helped me with my Series 66 and my Series 7. Passed both on my first try and there is no chance I would have passed first try without him. Super knowledgeable and was really good at helping me understand the topics by comparing them to topics outside of finance that would allow me to grasp the information easier. He gave me a lot of little tips and tricks for the exams even outside of our meeting that were super helpful. Really cares about everyone he tutors and is fully invested and passionate about what he is teaching. 5 stars across the board.

Incredible Tutor - From Struggling to Series 7 Ready in One Week

I reached out to Arseny with a week until my series 7. He met with me fast and in the late hours of the night. Up to that point I was scoring low on my quizzes and had not even taken a practice test. In a couple of sessions, Arseny helped me create a plan and go over sections I was struggling with. Arseny did an excellent job of helping me understand the concepts behind everything which led to me picking up the material incredibly fast. For example, after 2 sessions going over options, I scored a 98% on the Ken finnen options exam. In 1 week, my scores on practice tests jumped from 60's and low 70's to high 80's the day before my exam. I submitted my Series 7 on test day extremely confident and passed. I truly do not think I would have passed without Arseny’s help, and I would highly recommend him to anyone preparing for their exam.

Outstanding tutor!

I worked with Sunny for multiple sessions over a couple weeks prior to taking the FINRA SIE exam, and he was one of the key factors to my passing score on the first attempt. He has such deep knowledge of not only the material but the way in which the test asks questions. As someone starting their career in the industry, the way he helps review concepts makes it very simplistic. Will be utilizing him for the Series 7 & 66!

Very knowledgable and effective tutor

I was scoring below the pass rate with less than 2 weeks to go until the Series 66 exam. My practice exam scores went up after the first lesson with Sunny and were in the pass zone; I passed the real exam. He also does a great job explaining complex and dry topics in plain English! Sunny has very helpful resources and I would highly recommend him!

Knowledgaable and Easy to Understand

I'm working with Sunny while I study for my Series 65 exam, he's been incredibly helpful. Sunny made concepts I didnt understand much easier to grasp, and he gave me great tips on how to better study for my test. Looking forward to learning more from him.

Patient, reliable, over and above what was requested. 10/10

Sunny was incredible from the jump. He was exactly what I was looking for in a tutor prior to taking my exam. He took his time during our lessons, used real world examples to assist in retaining information and broke down each area that I was coming up short. After a few sessions, I was able to take my Series 66 exam today with more confidence than I would had had without his assistance and as a result I was able to pass on my first attempt! I couldn't have done it with out Sunny!

Great Tutor

I can’t recommend Sunny enough! He has an incredible way of breaking down difficult concepts into simple, easy-to-understand explanations. I came into tutoring feeling overwhelmed with options for the Series 7, but after working with him, everything started to click. He’s patient, knowledgeable, and never makes you feel bad for asking questions—even if you need something explained multiple times. Instead of just teaching you the answer, he makes sure you actually understand the “why” behind it, which has made a huge difference in my confidence. If you’re struggling with the Series 7 or just want someone who genuinely cares about helping you succeed, Sunny is the tutor you want. I’m so grateful for his help and would absolutely recommend him to anyone preparing for FINRA exams.

Sunny Is An Incredibly Knowledgeable Tutor

I had two sessions with Sunny just the week prior to taking the series 7, and he was instrumental to my passing score. He has an incredible knowledge of the test and uses that to maximize time on where you can pick up points. Furthermore, an excellent understanding of the topics and how they can be easily taught to someone just entering the industry.
