I am soon to become a PhD student specializing in General Relativity and aspects of Quantum Theory. I hope to one day become a Professor of General Relativity and Cosmology, and regularly teach, just as I do here.

I have always had a passion for teaching complicated topics. I believe anything can be understood by anyone, it's just a matter of time and patience. I started learning of my love for teaching people when I was quite young, and I've been running with it ever since. In middle school I launched my own science club for elementary and middle school students. I put together lessons on interesting scientific topics and new research and then presented it to the club members. In high school I created a biology course and taught it to middle schoolers. In college I helped my classmates with difficult physics concepts, and helped them solve hard homework problems provided by our professor.

The topics I tutor in include Grades 6 through 12 Mathematics (Geometry, Trigonometry, Pre-Algebra, Pre-Calculus, Elementary Mathematics, etc.), AP Classes (AP Physics 1, AP Physics C Mechanics, AP Calculus AB, AP Calculus BC, ets.), Honors Classes, College level Calculus I - III, Physics I and II, Modern Physics I and II, Quantum Mechanics, Special Relativity, Theoretical Classical Mechanics, other classes.

In 2016, I self studied the AP Physics 1 material and scored in the top 5% nationwide on the AP exam. If you are seeking help with AP Physics, I can definitely provide you the understanding and tips/tricks that are not generally found in books in order to score high on the test.

I believe that a tutor's job is not only to help increase understanding for a given subject, but also to inspire curiosity for the wonderful universe we live in. If you need someone, reach out to me, and let's get started!

You will not find a better tutor

I searched through a huge selection of tutors for AP Physics C. I tried classes with more than 10 tutors, and my message to Daniel was, frankly, a last cry of despair before another unit test in mechanics, which I had already resigned myself to fail. I had received a B in several previous tests. I could accurately recount all the formulas, but I could not put everything together. But Daniel definitely has a talent for making you abstract from looking only into details and look at the big picture. With many previous tutors, we only looked at the problems, but after the lesson with Daniel I was surprised by 3 whole pages of notes I've written after Daniel. I have never taken so many notes with any tutor, and from experience this is a very important indicator of the highest quality of teaching. The first lesson was the day before the test, and the next day I happily wrote to Daniel that I got 90% on this test. Since then, I took more lessons with him, and with his preparation, I have not had a single B, and on the last test this week I got 99%, which I am incredibly grateful to Daniel for! I will also say about his teaching style. I really like that he tries to maximize the volume of each lesson, so already in the second minute of the session we are going through some topic. He is very patient when a student does not understand something, and if necessary, he can retell it in other words so that the person really understands. I highly recommend Daniel to any student, I am sure that you will not regret it. I especially recommend him to those who feel they understand the formulas and small details, but who find it difficult to understand the global connection and how a specific topic intertwines with many other topics. And in physics, understanding such connections is more important than in any other science.

Very Knowledgeable and Easy to Understand

Daniel helped me with my college Physics 2 Electromagnetism course. He explains complex and confusing concepts clearly and makes them easy to understand. My professor had only read off slides in class and did not explain the concepts behind the equations and formulas, but Daniel was able to explain how each equation was derived and when they could be applied. He was very patient and explained things step by step, and I was able to get an A in the class by the end of the semester with his help.

Excellent Tutor Who Makes Complex Topics Easy to Understand

I had the pleasure of being tutored by Daniel for my college Physics 2 course. He explained the concepts clearly and never made me feel bad about not understanding something right away. He has a great way of breaking things down into simple steps, making it easier to tackle more complex problems on my own. Daniel is also incredibly patient and has a great personality, which made learning enjoyable. Thanks to his tutoring, I ended up with an A+ in Physics 2. I highly recommend him!

Knowledgeable but also a great teacher!

My son had his first session for AP Physics 1 last week and during the session he texted me and said “this tutor is very good”… need I say more? Now we have set up weekly sessions so my son can review class work and also start prepping for his AP exam.

very helpful

He stepped in to help my daughter in her college physics' class. He has been so helpful. She has just a few weeks left, and needed help right away. We are very appreciative.

Very knowledgeable and thorough tutor

I went to Daniel for help in Physics 2 and he was absolutely fantastic! Topics that seemed so complicated in lecture were simplified and made easy for me to understand. He is very patient and answered every question I had in great detail.

EXCELLENT

Daniel is a fantastic tutor and a wonderful person. My daughter is in 11th grade and takes AP Physics. She tells me that Daniel is very good at explaining and his lessons are easier to understand than classes in school. She was struggling with AP Physics before but her test scores have gone up since she started sessions with Daniel. Highly recommend!

excellent physics tutor - high school and college

My daughter uses Daniel for her college engineering electro/magnetism physics class and my son for his high school physics. Both kids rave about his ability to riff during the lesson. My daughter is filling in gaps in foundational stuff and she said Daniel will pick up on what she isn’t getting and will focus on that to make sure she understands it. My son said the same for his stuff - Daniel can focus on making sure a concept is understood before moving on. Patient and easy to get along with were other things my kids have said… finding a good fit is everything in tutoring. Glad we have a one stop shop for this family!
