Kevin helped me understand advanced probability theory around the subject of concentration inequalities. He showed both a broad overview on the subject as well as great care for fine details. We went through publications, books and other references which he provided. He is very patient and kind. Prior to and after our session he kindly enough sent me different links to readings and references on the subject. The lesson was definitely worth it. I will very probably contact him for new lessons.

tldr; has a great character & went above and beyond to help me with my assignment. he worked hard to prepare for my last min request + went the extra mile to provide me notes and everything. highly recommend him! ~ i am so thankful for kevin's help!! i had a last minute assignment so i requested a session with kevin, we scheduled our lesson the day of. i was super frantic bc my assignment was worth a lot and due the same day. before my session w kevin, i had a session w a different tutor that same day, and it didn't help at all since they didn't review in advance so they couldn't answer my questions. so when looking for more help, i found kevin's profile and then booked a session w him, and i'm so glad i did. my paper had 20 questions, a dense 10 page reading, and an additional reading on top of that. i asked kevin to just skim if he could before the session since the instant book was unhelpful, but because my request was so last minute, i didn’t expect much. when i had my session w kevin that day, i was in awe of how hard he worked to prepare! he went through ALL of my 20 questions in advance, and had 8 pages+ (single spaced!) of written out notes for me to reference w every one of my assignment questions. he read the study and understood it in its entirety so he could answer my questions really well! that's insane, especially for a last minute, day of request. and i was even so worried about the assignment, i offered to go over our 1hr session for 2+ hrs just so while i was writing the paper i could ask questions in case - he told me it was ok and i can just ask questions through message instead so i don't have to get charged more. so he turned down easy & a lot of money on his end, just for my benefit, which also left an impression on me. there are lots of tutors to choose from, but i really suggest you go w kevin. he worked so hard to prepare and was really honest in his character turning down my monetary offer. i’ve had tutors not prepare at all, or charge every single minute before - so i know tutors like kevin w character are rare. thank you again kevin, i appreciate you!!
