I am a graduate of Columbia International University, and photography has been a longtime creative passion of mine. Today I work as a professional photographer and have edited thousands of images using Adobe Lightroom. Through that experience, I have developed efficient workflows for organizing photos, achieving consistent color, and creating polished edits. I enjoy helping others understand the editing process so they can confidently improve their photos and develop their own style.
Teaching and mentoring have also been an important part of my background. I previously earned a TEFL certificate and taught English online to international students in one-on-one lessons, working with learners of different ages and experience levels. I have also taught private swim and guitar lessons, which helped me develop a patient and adaptable teaching style.
Within photography, I have mentored younger photographers on the photography teams at two large churches, helping them learn Lightroom basics, photo organization, and editing techniques. My teaching style is patient, practical, and collaborative. I enjoy working through real examples with students and editing their own images together so they can leave each lesson with skills and confidence they can continue using on their own.
