Hello! I’m a level designer and Unreal Engine developer with professional experience in the games industry, including working at Funcom on Dune: Awakening, a highly immersive open world survival game. Alongside my industry experience, I’ve also worked as a Coding Coach at Code Wiz Durham, where I taught students ranging from 7 to 17 years old. I led hands-on classes focused on game development, programming fundamentals, and creative problem-solving. My teaching philosophy is simple: students learn best by building! Whether we were designing games, scripting mechanics, or debugging together, I emphasized understanding the “why” behind the logic — not just following steps.
Teaching such a wide age range strengthened my ability to adapt my style depending on who I’m working with. With younger students, I focus on encouragement, creativity, and breaking complex ideas into clear, manageable pieces.
