Programming and Networking Instructor

I am a computer science tutor and ECPI University alumni with a strong academic foundation and extensive practical experience in programming and networking. I have more than seven years of hands-on programming experience using C++ and Python, along with over five years of teaching and tutoring students at different academic levels. My background allows me to clearly explain core computer science concepts while connecting them to real-world applications and industry practices.

In addition to my tutoring work, I have served as a part-time trainer at ECPI University in Raleigh, North Carolina, where I supported students in understanding programming principles, problem-solving techniques, and networking fundamentals. My teaching experience includes working with college-level learners in classroom and one-on-one settings, helping them succeed in coursework, labs, and practical assignments. I am experienced in guiding students through object-oriented programming, algorithmic thinking, debugging, and core networking concepts such as protocols, IP addressing, and system communication.

My teaching approach is structured, supportive, and results-focused. I adapt my methods to each student’s learning pace, ensuring concepts are fully understood before moving forward. I emphasize hands-on practice, clear explanations, and critical thinking so students gain both confidence and long-term skills. My goal is to help learners excel academically while building a strong foundation for careers in computer science, software development, and related technology fields.
