Every student learns differently, so I teach a variety of methods to solve math problems until we discover the approach that makes sense to them. Whether it’s visual strategies, hands-on techniques, or breaking problems into smaller steps, I meet students where they are.
I specialize in working with 3rd through 6th-grade students, with the most experience teaching 4th and 5th grade math. I also really enjoy teaching Algebra 1, helping students make that exciting transition to higher-level mathematics. Beyond our tutoring sessions, I create custom worksheets tailored to each student’s needs, giving them extra practice with the concepts they’re working to master.
My goal is to help your child not only improve their grades but develop problem-solving skills and a positive attitude toward math that will serve them well for years to come.
