About William

Bio

I’m William, a patient math tutor who helps students turn confusion into confidence. I’ve taught Common Core math, Algebra I/II, Geometry, Precalculus, Calculus, and related subjects since high school, where I was in the IB program and took well over a dozen AP courses. My approach is simple: build a clear roadmap, practice deliberately, and check understanding with quick, low-stress questions so nothing slips through the cracks.

I’m completing my B.S. in Mathematics at Wofford College this year, where I also assist students in the mathematics program. Sessions are active and structured: we unpack concepts, model a few examples, and then you do the talking while I ask targeted questions. I provide step-by-step notes, mistake logs, and test-day checklists so progress continues between meetings.

Whether you’re aiming for an A in class, preparing for AP courses, or rebuilding fundamentals, I’ll meet you where you are and move at a pace that feels doable. I’m available online with flexible scheduling. Let’s tackle the next topic together.
